Make money doing the work you believe in

My first brain map showed anxiety markers in 80% of my eyes-closed readings. The number didn’t initially mean anything to me until I researched more. New concepts, further discussions, online research. The clinical interpretation began to explain my existence as: chronic threat-response activation, hyper-vigilance, racing thoughts. Just from electrodes.

I couldn’t feel any of it, though, so I spent the next year understanding why. Because anxiety at 80% of baseline isn’t a transient “feeling” for some of us. It’s simply the water we swim in. And like a fish, we can’t feel the water we swim in.

75 neurofeedback sessions drained that water. And then my practitioner found more underneath as we “removed” or improved various layers. I now understand my entire nervous system so much more.

The full story is in my newest article, about finally meeting your own body at 45 years old.
