A grazing or fragment strike from an AR-15 round would almost always leave a lasting mark — a scar, notch, or color change from damaged cartilage that rarely heals smoothly. By contrast, the ear shown here looks smooth and evenly colored, without the scarring or deformity you’d expect from a high-velocity graze even many months later. It’s divine intervention, I guess.
