When Trump Gestapo knocks, remember this:
You do not have to open the door.
Say only this:
“I do not consent to any searches or questioning.”
“Do you have a warrant?”
If they say yes, ask to see it without opening the door.
A valid warrant must be signed by a judge and must name the specific person they are looking for.
If — and only if — those conditions are met, you can say:
“I will comply with the warrant only.”
If they say no, you can say:
“Then please leave.”
If they keep talking or pressuring you, repeat once:
“I am invoking my right to remain silent. I want a lawyer.”
Then stop speaking.
No door.
No questions.
No explanations.
Silence is a constitutional right.
