Troy Nehls is lying to the American people, full stop. He is trying to rewrite January 6 as something it was not, because the truth indicts his political allegiance. January 6 was a violent insurrection, incited and led by Donald Trump, that resulted in police officers being beaten, crushed, maimed, traumatized and later dying from injuries and suicides tied to that day.

By minimizing that violence, attacking the investigators, and shielding the man who unleashed it, Nehls is siding with the perpetrators over the cops who were assaulted in defense of the Constitution.

You don’t get to claim “law and order” while excusing mob violence against police. That isn’t patriotism — it’s betrayal. History is settled. The evidence is overwhelming. And Nehls’ lies are an insult to every officer who put on a badge and stood the line that day.
