I don’t normally write biographies, but this week I picked up my photo book—Back to Fort Scott by Gordon Parks for inspiration and realized it’s the anniversary of his death. He was such a unique and accomplished photographer, I wanted to honor his work. Longer than normal post, but hope it inspires you!

Because even though writing 1,000 words a day doesn’t seem like much at first, you’ll have written the equivalent of a novel in a few months. So, no matter how hard life gets, remember to keep the momentum going, and you’ll eventually build a career that lasts a lifetime.
