Aaron Parnas also reported a hotel guest told him the key card system for the elevators was disabled that entire evening, meaning anyone who entered the building could travel to any floor freely. A Daily Beast reporter confirmed that one colleague entered the hotel by being texted a screenshot of someone else’s ticket. There was no ID required and guests were commenting on the lack of security BEFORE anything even happened.
