Make money doing the work you believe in
Last concert hosting day, looking at the chili ‘fixins’, chicken and vegetables, such a profound sense of the weirdness of life. Eating is all weird.
I said to these beings I was preparing to cook for us to eat:
Thank you, with utmost respect. I hope you like the beings you are about to nourish, and what we do with the gift of yourselves.
When I am myself harvested from this crazy Earth life, I hope I like the beings I nourish with my story, energy and body also. It is my intent to serve Love.
Guests loved the music that night, and also spoke rapturously about the chili, and how nourishing and good for the soul it was. “What did you put in this soup???I need the recipe!” This surprised me some, I thought it was a good soup; this was an unusual response.
While I was cleaning up after everyone left, I remembered these prayers. That must have been it.
