I guess I should introduce myself. Hello! My name is Leena. I’m an RN here in the U.S. I am also a mother, and a Baha’i. I not only want to use this account for keeping up with the political climate but also to share about my life and my Baha’i faith. Let me be clear. I’m not a perfect Baha’i but I try. My faith plays a role in who I am as a person. Baha’i laws are for Baha’i but we do believe in being the best you can be and respecting the beliefs and rights of others. Religion should never be a source of contention or divisiveness.

I also want to make more friends who share my same values regarding science, health and equal rights for humanity. Women’s rights as well as equal rights amongst our LGBTQ communities are important to me.

We need to form communities who are willing to uplift and fight for one another.
