Wild animals which have been mortally wounded often go through what are termed “death throes,” a violent uncontrolled reflex-like reaction to their own rapidly ebbing life functions.

There is no other way to rationally explain Trump's recent behavior. He is reacting to his cascading physical collapse, his impending political and legal crises, by collapsing psychologically, and this process carries so much force that it disrupts everything in its path.

What is most important is that even many of his followers can see him disintegrating. This means new opportunities for us, once we decide to intervene.
