Trump himself has admitted his admiration for several aspects of Adolf Hitler's dictatorship in Germany, as well as those of Putin, Orbán, Kim, and Xi.

White nationalists who are increasingly hated by those over whom they are ruling will manifest their paranoia, rage, and willingness to employ violence. And they obsess about their personal security.

So it makes perfect sense that Trump wants tall, fearsome looking soldiers at his event. He is conducting a mass job interview for his personal bodyguard, his “Praetorians.”

Just like Adolf Hitler.
