84-year-old Déjà vu: If you think that artists, historians, filmmakers, writers and philosophers are not on to what goes on—think again. In 1942 George Cukor directed Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy in “Keeper of the Flame.” It's one of my favorite Tracy/Hepburn movies. It was disapproved of by our War Information Bureau of Films.  It finally made it to the US in wide distribution in the late 1950s. Pay attention to the language. What we are witnessing today is from an old playbook.
