Chicago attorney Robert Held took to a megaphone to address police officers on behalf of the protesters.

There was a standoff that lasted about an hour. Police were instructing protesters to disperse (and presumably go home).

They were herding people into a tight area and then grabbed their weapons and tactical gear for crowd control.

The officers have seemingly retreated at this point and peaceful protests have resumed!

Great idea to have an attorney available to speak directly to officers and remind them of their duty to the LAW.
