Yesterday, in Minnesota, a young couple with a baby ordered DoorDash.
The DoorDash driver was being followed by ICE and ran into the couples home for protection.
The woman who owns the home called the local police to see if they could assist - they told her they could not come out - they have no authority to intervene.
I had to shorten this video for Substack, but ultimately, the homeowners were able to get ICE to leave without taking custody of the DoorDash driver.
The community showed up and surrounded ICE which gave this couple the support they needed to bravely engage in a stand off.
I’m still shocked every time I see this happening in our country.
