I woke up this morning to a barrage of messages claiming that somehow I’m “attacking” Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez — or that I accused her reporting of being unfair or dishonest.

Let me be very clear: I never accused Alyssa of anything. I never said anything about her personally. In fact, I have never even spoken to her.

So I find it very strange that this is now being turned into some kind of narrative — especially coming from a journalist.

Those who know me know one thing: I don’t run from anybody. I don’t hide. I don’t throw stones from the shadows. I speak truth to power, and I’m always willing to have the conversation directly.

So I’m going live in the next 15 minutes.
