“Tillis Demanded a Meeting. The Survivors Told Him It Failed. He’s planning on confirming Anyway.”

Thom Tillis demanded Todd Blanche meet with the Epstein survivors before he’d vote. Blanche met with them on July 16.

The survivors walked out distraught. Annie Farmer called him abrasive, condescending, and intentionally noncommittal. Jess Michaels said she was gaslit and begged Tillis not to confirm him. Dani Bensky said he offered no plan to pursue anyone beyond Epstein and Maxwell.

Tillis went on X hours later and commended Blanche.

Then he and Cornyn spent two weeks demanding written assurances. Not about the files. About Trump’s tax settlement and the $1.776 billion weaponization fund.

Sunday night they got their paper. Tuesday they vote.

Here’s what that paper is worth. Cornyn already said on the record the fund can still be revived. Blanche admitted under oath the settlement is an enforceable contract and Trump’s lawyers can try to enforce it.

So they got a signature on a document that binds nobody, from an administration that has never once been bound by a document.

Both of these men are retiring. Neither faces another voter as long as he lives.

The survivors asked for accountability. The senators asked for paperwork.
