There’s been a spate of idiocy from “important” Substackers recently. One who’s like “god, what’s the big deal with AI, boring”. Another who “isn’t really a reader”.
I would summarise these as intellectual laziness. It’s easy to dismiss as unimportant what you don’t know.
But this takes the cake.
Apathy to historical injustices is how injustices happen, over and over and over again. Because intellectually lazy people blithely assume we’re better now. It could never happen again.
Truly, this is so stupid and dangerous and dangerously stupid I don’t have words for the stupid anymore.
