Hannibal Lecter as Figure with Meat / Will Graham as Nighthawks, Photoshop, 2015-16

NBC Hannibal is one of the best shows ever aired, and certainly the best horror show ever aired. Especially on network television. Still amazed that show creator Bryan Fuller got away with that level of gory disturbia.

The cat-and-mouse homoerotica between Mads Mikkelsen’s Hannibal Lecter, the Devil in a person suit, and Hugh Dancy’s Will Graham, the FBI agent with a soul like a Picasso, remains unsurpassed.

Bryan Fuller once tweeted that he saw Hannibal as a Francis Bacon painting and Will as an Edward Hopper painting, so I painted the pair.

He retweeted me, which is still one of my coolest accomplishments.
