Last year, frustrated by the lack of a photography category on Substack, I created the Photostack list on Notes and on Google Sheets. Currently, a collection of 133 photographers or photography writers creating and publishing on Substack. I hoped that like-minded souls would come together and that readers and writers would find each other. I hoped that others would take the ball and run with it.

This week,

of the Darkrooms newsletter, and now of his quarterly Darkrooms magazine, did just that. In the latest issue of the magazine, several Photostackers were invited to present some photography. There is some excellent work in there, and I'm happy to say that the beginnings of my wider project following the pro-Palestinian protests appear.
