Hi, I am Liza and I write two Substack publications, one called Sharing Secrets (and Other Useful Stuff) and another one called Scattered Crumbs and Tangled Tales. I am originally from Slovenia, have a PhD in Social Anthropology, have lived and worked half a dozen countries including in Burkina Faso and Ethiopia. I love learning languages and can communicate at a different degree of fluency in about 11 of them. I also love to eat and cook, which is why I joined the Mastermind for Food Writers here on Substack as well, just to confuse my subscribers even further.
In my two personal publications I write about many different things, and don’t really fit into any of the substack niches, so consider checking out my posts and seeing if I am a good fit, cause I really suck as this thing called the elevator pitch.
