Dems today force a vote to stop the looting of our treasury by Trump via his “anti weaponization fund.” Vote failed 49 to 50, with GOP Sens. Susan Collins, Jon Husted and Dan Sullivan voting with Dems. Senator Bill Cassidy voted with the GOP. There is little chance of garnering enough support to launch the fund. My take is they keep the idea alive to use as leverage in getting Todd Blanche confirmed as Attorney General.
