Human’s invasive world ~ crowds out my world… my world doesn’t make noise or take up space.
Doesn’t intrude on someone else.
It’s self contained ~ held sacred and close… it listens and sees and feels all around it.
How could it not… when that’s how it was made.
They steal from me ~ impose on me… they break me in shreds, blow me around until there’s no threads left.
They ignore and trample ~ forcing their will… on all around.
Removed from what is… in its sacredness.
The machine is ravenous ~ it consumes all in its path.
It deafens ~ it smothers… it sucks out the life force. It tramples ~ it ignores, it makes fun… it’s ignorance knows depths that stun and confuse.
It’s not friendly or caring ~ it’s made of metal. I saw it, I did… when I first arrived… entering Earth’s space separate and unique.
Alone ~ by myself, my attention fierce. All around was crystal clear.
Metal bodies ~ a world so strange. Cold, bright, loud, separate… but for chords connected to their head… a central force controlled.
Shocking ~ truly, to experience such a place. What kind of world have we come.
It was the glimpse of the flame ~ so tiny… inside those hard metal forms. I knew what that was… it was a sign of hope.
Life was here ~ just hidden and oh so weak.
But it was then I decided ~ I’d be okay… if the flame is alight here… I’ll be safe.
