Make money doing the work you believe in

What people don’t understand when the state has some responsibility of healthcare then they make damn sure the food, water and air we need to survive are not causing the diseases they will have to pay for. Our health becomes a national priority, an economic priority of the federal government. In America more sickness means greater profits, more pay outs to politicians from polluting industries, and junk food to avoid regulation, which means more sickness which means more profits. It’s a declining spiral of illnesses and corruption.

Hard to believe that before 1973, health insurance in the US wasn’t primarily engineered as a profit machine. Now it’s a $25-billion-a-year industry built on monetizing illness itself.

It raises a simple question: what would healthcare look like if human need outranked shareholder return?
