There is so much to unpack here. The Biden administration has not allowed 10 million undocumented immigrants into the country since he has been president. Republicans from JD Vance on down the line simply will not stop lying about this. According to DHS, Pew Research and numerous others, the total number of undocumented immigrants in the entire United States is less than 11 million. Encounters peaked at the end of last year, and have plummeted since then. Even FAIR, far-right group with ties to white nationalist and eugenics groups, only estimates ~17 million.

Also, note how Salazar avoids answering the question, before saying only hardened criminals will be deported and not ever one of the ~200k undocumented immigrants in the Miami-Dade area. Surely Salazar is aware that her comment is in direct conflict with what Tom Homan, the new border are is saying on this very day.

The day after the presidential election Amna Nawaz asked Rep. Maria Salazar (R-FL) about Trump's mass deportation plan. Trump hasn't clarified which undocumented immigrants would face deportation. The "Dignity Act' Salazar refers to was introduced last year but is not law.
