This morning’s roundup is about power, how it’s being abused, where it’s being wasted, and the few places it’s still being resisted.
From Minneapolis parents standing guard outside schools, to Greenlanders marching through snow to say we are not for sale, to Ukrainians trying to keep hospitals warm while missiles fall, the pattern is impossible to miss. Trump threatens allies instead of confronting Russia. He abandons civilians while pouring state resources into revenge, retaliation, and grievance. Wall Street folds. Institutions flinch. The planet burns.
But here’s the thing: this can still be stopped.
A handful of GOP members of Congress, literally a few, have the power right now to block Trump’s most dangerous impulses, rein in his war powers, and prevent a slide toward global catastrophe. All it takes is courage. And pressure.
