I feel such joy with Grace.

Each time I’m with her I wonder how in the past, I could have missed the opportunity to live this type of relationship.

In both horse and human relationships there is a humility that is required. My husband and I share a mantra “I want what you want.” This has been a great education in the art of relationship.

Entitlement separates us from nature. I do not see the birds or the trees expressing that they are entitled to life.

Yet the abundance I experience in nature is so real. It is felt and sensed in every breath. Not just in peak experiences.

This is how I feel when I am with my horse. I hold a smile that is felt throughout my whole being. I attribute this to allowing the relationship to be expressed without identity. In other words it is free to be love.

Of course we still learn and grow and evolve our world, but not through force. This is the major difference in how I am with my horse now versus how “I worked with them” before.

A subtle and extremely powerful shift from head to heart. It’s not just a cliché, it’s a natural law. And I feel it is a lesson that all mankind must learn to survive.

As it has been expressed, “For mankind to know peace it must become kind-man”. And this is exactly what I am experiencing in my world. This is not a hypothesis. It is shown to me in every step I take.

Grace is that. The expression of life through love.
