In 1962, with the knowledge of President Kennedy, the CIA broke into the old French Embassy in Washington, D.C., and stole documents as part of a counterintelligence operation. Nixon didn’t know about the Watergate break-in, he just tried to cover it up. JFK and RFK approved the break-in and hid it from the FBI!
