I have heard from many people that its hard to follow the actions of Congress outside of the drama that the mainstream media covers. What bills are being passed? Who voted for what?

Did you ever wonder what Congress is actually doing?

Starting Saturday, I will be releasing a weekly newsletter covering the actions of Congress.

This will include most bills, not including meaningless procedural votes and certain resolutions (like renaming post offices), and confirmations in the U.S Senate.

Bills passed in the U.S Senate via voice vote or unanimous consent, and bills passed unanimously under suspension in the U.S House will include the bill number, title, and a summary quoted or paraphrased from congress.gov.

Bills passed via regular order roll call vote in the U.S Senate or U.S House will include the bill number, title, and a summary as well as a summary of debate on the floor, floor amendments considered, and a final vote tally with a link that can be used to see how individual members voted.

Bills in the U.S House that passed under suspension that receive a roll call vote will also include a vote tally, but not a summary of debate if the vote is lobsided and there is no organized opposition.

All the information that would take hours to find will be condensed to one page!

Subscribe to have easy access to the actions of the United States Congress!
