He is an arrant humbug and worse, an absolutely worse theologian. Save the world from US evangelicals. It’s not so much as they can’t do theology, they don’t even know what it is. Verses plucked from the New Testament at random and presented as a coherent account of the faith they purport to practice, pious pronouncements about virtue, based on US folkways of the late 20th century, together with anti abortion garbage which is based on nothing with any real basis in Christian credal tradition.
