Large parts of the conspiratorial right siding with Muslim fanatics against Jews is one of the most predictable but ridiculous developments so far. It's a sign of a wider political realignment that commentators on all sides haven't really got their heads around yet. One upside is it might lead to a split among conservatives, with the nutjobs spinning off into the ether. On the other hand, if their position becomes more mainstream, that could lead to dark places. Will be interesting to see how it pans out. Ps I don’t think the phrase ‘woke right’ makes any sense when describing these people, that seems like a ‘cope’ to me (to use another terrible phrase).
