Saw a patient this week who recently suffered bilateral pulmonary emboli (blood clots in the lungs) manifested by sudden chest pain and shortness of breath, occurring about 4 weeks after a Covid infection. She is still unvaccinated.

While Covid complications can include pulmonary emboli for any of us, the unvaccinated have been found to have 3X the risk.
