If we set up a society where young men didn’t waste time in daycare until age 18 and could start a real education at age 12 with apprenticeships and at university (yes they’re ready for this) segregate girls and boys, then young people would be productive members of society sooner and could get married at an age that actually corresponds better to sexual maturity and be able to happily have kids sooner. As it stands, everyone expects normal people to stay chaste until 30 when they’re “ready for marriage”. Only mentally ill people will do that. A ridiculous system. And it’s not fixed by forcing 25yos who still behave and think like teenagers to get married. It begins by uprooting and redoing the whole education system so people can actually think, act and behave like ADULTS at 18.
