As a Kentuckian, I urge you:

Don’t let Mitch McConnell’s recent votes breaking party lines rewrite his legacy or history. Mitch McConnell is a large reason why we have a democracy problem and Constitutional crisis right now and he’s never uttered one ounce of regret.

I also strongly believe had any of those votes been a tie-breaking vote, he would have voted differently. He has put party over people - even his own people - for decades.

He’s attempting to save any shred of credibility he may still have. He has to believe he’s having his John McCain moment, but they were never cut from the same cloth.
