Hegseth says he supports a “warrior” spirit in the military. I am nearly 80 years old. I was shot down in Vietnam delivering ammunition to Firebase Ripcord being overrun, and then years later personally saved multiple lives in Somalia from a convoy ambush. I served with and then the toughest men and women I have ever known. They were warriors then and are today. Hegseth is playing a warrior on TV, wearing makeup and no socks with Gucci shoes who is acting as a tough character in the Trump world. Surely, most Americans can distinguish between real and fake people. I can and would love to discuss his warrior spirit in person on any TV network. Let’s have at it.
