You know in those WWII movies where the Nazi shoots someone for refusing some simple order and just walks off like it’s the most normal thing in the world that he just killed a human?

Always shocking and sortof unbelievable, right? Because it showed how humanity was conditional. You were only a human if you were in the right group.

I’ve been thinking a lot about that over the past few days.
