Anyone else tired of being told midlife is a reinvention?

Like a whole new me is just going to pop out like a jack in the box.

I'm so busy juggling I don't even have the energy to wind the box up.

Maybe what we actually need isn't a reinvention. Maybe it's just a pivot.
