The app for independent voices

I genuinely believe that the world becomes a better place every time that someone listens to their heart. Even in the smallest, most apparently trivial ways. My observation is that these small, devoted acts of self-trust ignite a sense of permission and boldness in others to do the same. Over time, this leads to a world converging more on authenticity, self-expression, love, alignment, truth.

It’s strangely empowering to remember that we each have an equal sense of power and potential, then, to ‘improve the world’ — and that this ability does not lie necessarily in convincing others to live different or better lives, to speak or think about how you might do the same, but to simply act in alignment with what you genuinely feel called to do. To listen to the whispers inside of you that may not make ‘perfect rational sense’ to others, or even to your own mind.

But somewhere deep inside of you, you know that this is the right thing to do.

You can’t exactly explain it, and maybe there is still a tinge of doubt, but at the most subtle and nuanced level, you just know. You know what you need to do. And when you do it, you send a small ripple through the world, a signal of surrendering to the inevitability of your path, of what you know in your heart, that makes the world a truly better place. From this perspective, you can begin to improve the world any time you want by simply listening to yourself.
