⚓️Shadow Self: Anger
What if Anger isn’t a problem to solve? Lots of people are consumed with Anger. It's either boiling over and disrupting their lives or suppressed and disrupting their Peace and Health.
But image if instead of asking:
“How do I get rid of my anger?”
Let’s talk about:
“What is anger trying to protect/achieve?”
A boundary?
A value?
A hurt?
A fear?
Address an injustice?
A younger version of you?
Before you judge your anger, try to listen to it, understand it, appreciate it,and even befriend it!
You don't have to act on its impulse.
Please don't unleash it on some unsuspecting loved one or stranger while it is still not fit for human consumption.
And don't push it down into the depths of your own belly.
Sit with it! Pour a cup of Tea and pull up a chair. Let it introduce itself to you and start understanding why it showed up and what it's trying to help YOU to accomplish.
Anger is often the bodyguard that shows up when something important feels threatened.
Today’s Question:
If your anger could speak in a calm, honest voice, what would it say?
