There is a perfect storm brewing.

First, several respected economists are predicting a recession based on core national economic indicators.

Second, the damage done to the world economy by the shutdown of the Straits of Hormuz is just starting to take effect, and even if it’s opened back up tomorrow, the consequences will still be felt.

Third, the gutting of government services by the DOGE is just starting to take effect and will make any economic problems down the road more acute. The inefficiency and incompetence are beginning to rear their ugly heads with every challenge the nation faces now.

Fourth, the effects of the Big Beautiful Bill will kick in only after the midterms and cause more strain on the middle class. Insurance will become more expensive, millions will be kicked off the SNAP program, and public assistance will be extremely hard to get.

Fifth, if Trump is faced with political failures he caused, such as the Iran War and the loss of either House or Senate, or both, and rising inflation caused by the tariff debacle, he will certainly not stand idle and be neutered. He will do whatever it takes to not lose control, which means chaos the likes of which we haven’t seen since the Civil War.

Sixth, the huge number of willfully mean and dumb people in the US today, multiple generations brought up in the Bully Culture where school shootings and young suicide are now ingrained in our society. A younger generation is ripe to be molded into stormtroopers ready to jerk us out of our homes and shoot us in the street.

Seventh, billions of taxpayer dollars given to a rogue government law enforcement agency, which murders protesters and terrorizes blue cities and states, will no doubt be used by Trump to consolidate and hold on to power.
