I was so tired of trying to make sure people knew their rights and it not seeming to matter at all because the police kept killing us, that I just stopped doing the segments and seminars altogether about a decade ago. However, I’ve come to realize my desire for people to be informed was never the problem. Knowledge is power. It just isn’t enough for people to know their rights under the law. They need to have a clear understanding that exercising them isn’t automatic. When to exercise them or not requires a real time assessment of the facts and some good decision making.

So, here I am giving it another go. Sharing your rights —as well as some of the other factors to be considered in determining whether you will exercise them or not.
