Hello, we are Moors for the Future Partnership. The Partnership has been working in the Peak District and South Pennines, UK, since 2003. The benefits of moorland restoration include natural flood management, improved biodiversity, carbon sequestration and resilience to peatland fires.

As a Partnership, we:

• restore moorlands so they are beneficial for people, better for wildlife and more resilient to the effects of climate change

• raise awareness and inspire people so that they value and care for the moorland landscape and wildlife

• develop scientific expertise and build a sound evidence base to underpin our work and help everybody protect the moors
