This chapter is absolutely stunning. The idea that the Dynarri can process cold data but completely shatter when faced with love's illogic is such a clever inverison of the usual Trek formula. I've been in situations where purely emotional bonds mattered way more than any rational argument, and seeing Orin weaponize that felt earned. The way love becomes his ultimate defense mechanism instead of a weakness is genuinly brilliant.
