It’s coming together but unfortunately, one of the headpieces wasn’t supposed to be anodized; he’s correcting it. I went with u/tetherfan’s idea of using two small screws for the tetherspout. The idea is that they insert from both sides but don’t cause urine to pool like it does with a single transverse screw– that will be an improvement over my test cage. So, with the four four head pieces (my test cage headpiece should be compatible) and the two cages, that’s like 16 cages (or that’s how I’m justifying it).

You know, when I started this process over 8 months ago, I didn’t have the design chops to bring this all together but now, after well over 100 emails exchanged, I’ve learned a lot, both from Guan and on my own, I would be perfectly comfortable designing this whole thing myself and having IN3DTEC print it. And so I anticipate designing multiple upgrades because you know, I really like designing cages.
