The invasion is being televised. Looks like the San Antonio and the Fort Lauderdale have joined the Iwo Jima. We have now brought in combat rescue planes and helicopters which are, you know, used to rescue people in combat. Which means that someone is thinking that pilots and others may need to be rescued in a combat situation.

The U.S. has made no preparations for a full-scale invasion, but there are now three amphibious landing craft on-station, not counting that converted ro-ro the special forces use.

There is so much air traffic now that a JetBlue plane out of Curaçao almost crashed into a USAF tanker that had turned off its transponder.

Reports are that the Maduro-Trump talks floundered on the amount of money Maduro wanted and the number of people he wanted to take with him, but we have no real information. Still, there are no indications that he is prepared to abdicate.

It is hard to imagine putting all this firepower in place without using it.
