I have really made a lot of friends here already, In case you don't know,

I run a weekly newsletter called indieniche where i share Product lessons from founders, Success lessons, Growth tips, Products, Tools, Trivia, and memes 😀😀

These are some of the valuable lessons i have learnt so far

Be valuable

You need to be valuable to people, attached in the screenshot is someone getting 21 subscribers from my recommendations, which shows my being valuable, i don't even know him before but he communicates with my content a lot

share valuable resources

The funny thing is I only shared 2 newsletters that i have written, it is extensive comprehensive writing on what i published to my audience, they liked it a lot and most people gave me a lot of thumbs up for it. I also make use of substack notes to share my content and restack a lot of things. My content and everything i see on the internet, il share it on my notes

Share Everywhere

My newsletter has a very good open rate and views, an open rate of 1.2k on 2 posts and 41%, i share about my newsletter on X, Reddit, and substack, Reddit has driven my growth a lot (I have a hack doc on this if anybody wants on viral content headers). i don't just share, i engage. This also helped my recommended newsletters get subscribers. You can see from the screenshots

Recommend other people's newsletter

i recommended a lot of newsletters from my subscribers and those newsletters got some users, everybody wins at the end of the day, do it for people a lot, Don't just write and focus on yours, Be concerned about other writers too

Be customer-centric

I reply to everybody who replies to all my posts in all the mediums you see my posts, it's the little things i do to help myself grow and connect with people. Most people buy emails, i don't do that, it won't help you in the long run, the best way to grow is to grow organically, i learned that from

Treat your newsletter as a product and attend to everyone who is your customer, it helps breed connection
