Just crying over here- the kids have been home, inside, for 3 days. It was -24 Celsius today. Tomorrow was going to be their first day back at school this week, but at -10 Celsius they went to e-learning because of frigid temperatures. I know we’ve had school in worse, so I’m guessing this is more about letting everyone recover emotionally tomorrow after the inauguration following an emotionally charged election season. If that’s the case, I guess I can support it. But if it’s just that they don’t want to handle a bunch of wound up kids after 3 days of indoor time, well, then I guess I get that too. At least Wednesday will be back to normal cold.
