For those with arthritis who are looking for options besides pain pills, here is a ray of hope:

A 2017 study considered supplementing with 15 grams of a gelatin/vitaminC immediately after 6 minutes of rope skipping. The results were and I quote

‘Subjects who took 15 g gelatin 1 h before exercise showed double the amino-terminal propeptide of collagen I in their blood, indicating increased collagen synthesis.’

What this means is that their bodies were making more collagen than those who didn’t have this supplement. The kicker: exercise stimulates the synthesis of collagen and gelatin (which is pure collagen) and vitamin C gave the body the ingredients to achieve that synthesis.

Your doctor has told you that exercise will help your arthritis, and the above it why. You can supercharge those benefits with consuming collagen and vitamin C
