I recently read “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?”, and right after I had a moment where two comedians were talking about the a show one of the comedian’s did. They didn’t talk about craft or philosophy of the joke, just how amazing it was to be on a popular platform, and I thought of this:

“I want to have an animal; I keep trying to buy one. But on my salary... “
