I graduated from high school in 1997. My first semester of college was at DeVry in Columbus, Ohio. My major was Computer Information Systems. After one semester, I transferred to Bowling Green State University and majored in Business Administration with a specialization in Management Information Systems (MIS). I went to BGSU for two years. I had classes in business, computer science, and general education. I was Vice President of Chinese Club for two years.
After my time at BGSU, I obtained a college work visa and moved to Dublin, Ireland, to get work experience. While working in Ireland, I took classes at Dublin Institute of Technology in preparation for British Computer Society exams. I successfully completed two certifications from BCS.
After moving back to America, I completed my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Information Systems and Technology from Amberton University in Garland, Texas. I studied online and part-time while working. I followed this up by completing an MBA in Strategic Leadership from Amberton University, while continuing my career.
After a few years, I started a master’s degree in Applied Computer Science through Columbus State University. I completed eight classes over the course of several years and changes to my personal life. I don’t know if I will pursue any further formal education in the future, but I love learning.
