It’s wild how many people are using this photo as proof we’re living in a “dystopian capitalist nightmare”, as if the alternative of an undeveloped pasture would be better.

When you’re halfway to Harrisburg and you’re out of gas and your bladder is at DEFCON 1, this is salvation.

There’s plenty of wild green space left in the world and you are free to go there. The town pictured isn’t a social/moral failure. It actually displays an incredible amount of empathy and consideration.
