I am 83 yrs old . I came of age while these scumbags were scouring the country of “ communists” — meaning leftist, liberals , progressives. First they “defined” them as spies and traitors— my family among them— then they proveeded to turn the power of Govt against them -actors, writers, labor organizers, school teachers, were Pilloried, people once fascinated by communism or socialism who had given it up years before werr forced to either testify publicly against their friends or lose their employment. Norman Thomas, the socialist candidate for vice president of the United States, wound up grooming, French poodles for a living. These people are power mongers. They are defining the left in a way that’s useful to them. They are defining the entire Democratic party as an evil ideology. They’re making their purpose clear through their strategies. They have to be fought every step of the way. And if you want to do that without raining down hell upon the nation, I humbly suggest you consider stopping shopping.. Buy the minimum that you need to get by. No more Amazon, no more Whole Foods, no more HOME DEPOT. Write and let them know that you are boycotting them for their support of anti-democratic laws and processes and you are willing to suffer to save the nation. Trade clothes with your friends, don’t buy anything new. This has worked in other countries where General strikes have closed the country down. Don’t resist directly, but sick days, work, slow downs, speaking with coworkers, trying to make them see your point of view, writing letters to Congress, all those archaic things have power. Celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk is celebrating political violence. Don’t fall for that trap. You don’t prove you’re good by publicly fighting evil. You prove yourself good by taking care of one another, taking care of your community and taking care of your nation. Finally, it means taking care of yourself staying calm, keeping an eye on your negative emotions, and most of all listening to others. Our entire system runs on money. It’s a hinge that you can control every time you reach for your wallet. Please consider this.
